Basic swimming ability is helpful but not strictly required. We provide high-quality snorkeling vests (life jackets) that keep you floating comfortably at the surface, even if you cannot swim. Our guides stay with you in the water at all times, and many cenotes have shallow areas where you can stand. Children as young as 4 have snorkeled safely with us.

Cenote snorkeling is suitable for all ages, from children as young as 4 to seniors. We adjust the experience to match your group — younger children receive extra attention and smaller equipment, while more adventurous adults can explore further into the cenote. There is no upper age limit, and many of our guests are grandparents snorkeling alongside their grandchildren.

Our cenote snorkeling tour includes free hotel pickup and drop-off from anywhere between Cancun and Tulum, professional snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, and buoyancy vest), a private bilingual guide, visits to two or three cenotes, authentic Mexican cuisine for lunch, bottled water and snacks, and towels. There is no limit to group size for snorkeling tours — we welcome groups of any size.

The full experience runs approximately 5-6 hours from hotel pickup to drop-off. You will spend around 30-45 minutes snorkeling at each cenote, with comfortable breaks between stops for lunch, snacks, and relaxation in the jungle setting. We typically visit 2-3 cenotes depending on the route and your group's pace.

Cenote snorkeling ranges from $90-150 per person depending on group size and season. This includes everything — hotel pickup, snorkeling gear, guide, lunch, and multi-cenote visits. Visibility exceeds 30-100 meters, so you can always see the bottom. We provide properly sized snorkeling vests for children, and our guides are trained in water safety and first aid. Many families tell us cenote snorkeling is the highlight of their Mexico vacation.

Bring a swimsuit, a towel, biodegradable sunscreen (regular sunscreen is not permitted in cenotes as it damages the ecosystem), a change of clothes, and an underwater camera if you have one. We provide all snorkeling equipment, towels, water, snacks, and lunch.
